Isko to undergo drug test
MANILA Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko presidential candidate Isko Moreno announced that he will undergo a drug test.
This after various groups called for May 2022 poll candidates to undergo a drug test.
As this developed, Moreno urged doctors and health frontliners to inform their patients that they can avail of Molnupiravir for free, whether or not they are from Manila.
Meanwhile, Moreno said the city government’s newly-acquired 40,000 capsules of Molnupiravir is just the first batch of such drugs that they ordered.
Moreno added that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave the city 200mg Molnupiravir treatment for 200,000 capsules meaning the local government unit (LGU) of Manila can buy again anytime, once its initial stocks of 40,000 capsules have been used up.
All that one has to do, Moreno said, is to comply with three simple requirements, namely: bring a prescription duly-issued by a licensed doctor for the required medicine; an RT-PCR result and a photocopy of a valid ID of the patient concerned or his representative.
According to Moreno, those who want to get free Molnupiravir, may just get in touch with Dr. Poks Pangan and Dr. Ed Santos, head and assistant head of the Manila Health Department, respectively or go to Sta. Ana Hospital Director Dr. Grace Padilla.
