MANILA Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet Isko Moreno yesterday said he is mulling the idea of bringing the vaccination to the dolomite beach, if possible, saying it can also accomodate many would-be vaccinees in a safe, open-air and spacious area.
Moreno also urged parents and those with household members who are minors aged five to 11, to already pre-register with the local government’s mass vaccination program so that their children or wards can be immediately inoculated once the guidelines are available and vaccines for the said age group arrive in the city. It is open for Manilans and non-Manilans.
Moreno said this as he, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, Congressman Yul Servo and Parks and Recreations Bureau chief Pio Morabe formally opened the mass inoculation of kids and elderly using the newly-rehabilitated Manila Zoo as a vaccination hub. In effect, the zoo had been formally opened too.
