Imus City launches new subsidy system for SCs
THE local government of Imus, under the leadership of Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula through the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), has begun a new method or system of distributing subsidies to approximately 30,000 senior citizens who are members of the Imus Senior Citizen Association Incorporated (IMUSCAI) at the Old Imus City Hall Building, in Barangay Poblacion here.
Around 319 grandparents with January as their birth month were already given such a subsidy.
City Administrator Hertito Monzon and OSCA Department Head Luzviminda Elbinar greeted those grandparents to get their subsidies.
Senior citizens who want to become members of IMUSCAI can contact the presidents of their respective chapters in the barangays or visit the
OSCA office located on the ground floor of the Imus City Government Center, Bgy. Malagasang I-G.
