Health cards distributed at the Batangas Capitol
THE BATANGAS Capitol formally issued the Kalusugan Kards to the first ten beneficiaries in the Province of Batangas in a ceremonial turn-over on January 6.
The distribution was carried out by Batangas Provincial Government officials, led by Gov. DoDo Mandanas, assisted by Anakalusugan Partylist nominees, Ray Florence Reyes and Atty. Gina Reyes-Mandanas.
“All Batangueños will have a Health Card for free treatment, whether you are poor or rich, our health services are equal,” Reyes said in his message.
Atty. Reyes-Mandanas that not only ten will be provided with such health cards, but one million beneficiaries will receive them in the pilot deployment of the project.
Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) Department Head Joy Montalbo thanked Governor Mandanas for the partnership to have a Health Card, which means additional health benefits for Batangueños.
Also participating in the gathering were the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Rosvilinda Ozaeta, and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (PDRRMO) Joselito Castro.
