Headless man found in Iloilo
A DECOMPOSING body of a man without head on Sunday was found in Calinog, Iloilo.
Residents discovered the headless body of a man in the grassy portion of Bgy. Tahing in Calinog town.They immediately called the police.
Village residents said a foul smell from the bush led them to the victim, whose identity is being verified by the police.
Authorities searched the area and found the head not far from where the body was found.
The victim was described as 40 to 50 years old and wearing maong pants.
Police theorized the victim was killed in another place and was dumped in the village to mislead probers.
An investigation is ongoing.
