Female resort caretaker shot dead in Quezon
SARIAYA, QUEZON — For still unknown reasons, a female caretaker of a beach resort was gunned down by one of two male suapects riding in tandem on a motorcycle at Brgy. Guis- guis Talon, here on Saturday.
Aiza Magboo, 34, married and caretaker of Beneraza Resort in the said barangay, suffered multiple bullet wounds in the body and died instantly, said Lt. Col. Rommel Sobrido, the town police chief.
Sobrido said Magboo was resting inside a nipa hut at the resort when she was suddenly approached by the suspects at around 5:20 p.m. The gunman pulled a pistol and shot her in close range several times.
The suspects fled toward the abjacent town of Candelaria.
Based on the testimony of Francesca De Torres, 52, the victim’s elder sister, the gunman was identfied through rogues gallery as Rvjoy Flores Paderon, 25, alias Tek, 25, and resident of Bgy. Ibabang Iyam Lucena City.
Paderon wjo is now being hunted by police operatives will be charged with murder before the Office of Provincial Prosecutor in Lucena City.
