Farmers and Fisherfolks Day celebrated in Batangas
BATANGAS — Heavy rains did not stop the celebration of Farmers and Fisherfolk Day at the Regina R. Mandanas Memorial Dream Zone, Capitol Site, here on November 18. The celebration, with the theme “Barangay and Town Food for the Citizens”, was led by the office of Provincial Agriculturist, Dr. Rodrigo A. Bautista, Jr. and graced by Batangas Governor DoDo Mandanas, Acting Vice Gov. Maria Claudette Ambida, and Department of Agriculture Region IV-A Executive director Milo delos Reyes. During the event, Recognition Awards were given to outstanding farmers and fishemen in the province The Provincial Gawad Saka was given for nominated Batangueno outstanding Farmers and Fisherfolks for 2022.
