Drug den smashed, 5 arrested in Mabalacat
MABALACAT CITY, PAMPANGA — Agents of PDEA Pampanga and local police on Tuesday dismantled a drug den in Barangay San Francisco resulting in the arrest of five suspects and confiscation of 20 grams of shabu.
PDEA Region 3 Director Bryan Babang identified the suspects as Carlo Laczon, 22; Marlon Quizon, 45; Roy Pamintuan, 40; Nicomedes Mamangun, 23; and Reynaldo Quizon, 27.
The operation yielded seven plastic sachets containing shabu worth P136,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, a digital weighing scale and the marked money.
Babang said the operation will reduce drug use and distribution in the area.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against suspects.
