Isa nang ganap na Naval Combat Engineering Officer si Dingdong Dantes matapos maka-graduate at makumpleto ang Naval Combat Engineer Officer Basic Course.

Ipinost ng aktor ang mga larawan sa katatapos na graduation rites niya kung saan ay kasama niyang dumalo ang misis na si Marian Rivera, honorary guest sa nasabing event.

Makikita sa mga larawan na nakasuot pa si Dong ng gala uniform na bagay na bagay naman sa kanya.

Ayon sa aktor, nagulat ang bunsong anak nila na si Sixto nang makita siyang naka-uniporme.

“When I left the house this morning, Sixto was surprised to see me in this gala uniform. He asked, ‘Dada, where are you going?’ I said that I would attend my graduation rites in the Seabees Headquarters.

“From the second floor, to my surprise, I heard the strong, coarse voice of Zia screaming, ‘What? You will graduate? Are you a student?’” kwento ng aktor sa caption.

“I just smiled and answered that, yes, even old people can still study and finish anything as long as they want to, because learning should never stop,” patuloy niya.

Masaya rin si Dong na nabigyan siya ng opportunity na maging reservist ng ating bansa.

“As a reservist, it is a privilege to be given these opportunities to acquire new skills which can definitely enhance many aspects of my life as a professional, father, and husband.

“And what an honor to receive the certificate of completion from King Bee himself, Commodore Rolando Sarmiento,” he said.

Sa isang post naman ng aktor ay makikitang ipini-pin sa kanya ni Marian ang kanyang badges at nagpasalamat siya sa misis sa pagsuporta sa kanya.

“Major shoutout sa aking super supportive na Misis for showing up today and pinning the ‘Riffle Expert Badge’ and the ‘Kapanalig Medal’ on me. I’m frozen in place — wouldn’t want to risk becoming a human pincushion!” caption ni Dingdong.

Makikita sa certificate of completion na tinanggap ni Dingdong na “Major” na ang kanyang ranggo ngayon.

Matatandaan na nagsimulang maging reservist si Dong ng Philippine Marine Reserve Force in 2006. Noong 2020 ay na-promote siya bilang lieutenant commander sa Philippine Navy.
