DILG cites outgoing mayor of San Pablo City
OUTGOING San Pablo City Mayor now Laguna 3rd district Congressman-elect Loreto Amante was recognized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government for his unwavering dedication and continued support to the thrust, mandates, programs and projects of the Department.
DILG Secretary Eduardo Año said that Amante’s selfless and relentless public service is truly a reflection of the DILG’s brand of “Matino, Mahusay and Maasahan” public servant.
The certificate of recognition was signed by Maria Alma Barrientos, CLGOO DILG-San Pablo City; Lorilyn Manrique, DILG Laguna cluster head; and John Cerezo, DILG provincial director.
Meanwhile, the Department granted to Amante’s father, San Pablo City Vice Mayor now Mayor-elect Loreto Amante, a certification removing the names of Vicente Belen Amante/Loreto Amante from the list of the Inter-Agency Drug Information Data base in pursuant to the recommendation of the Review, Evaluation and Management of the Inter-Agency Drug Information Database Committee.
The delisting was approved by President Rodrigo Duterte through Resolution 9, Series of 2022 and was signed by Año.
