This was stressed by Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carleen S. Sedilla as she congratulated the 10 “Most Outstanding Alumni” of the E. Rodriguez Jr High School during its 72nd Foundation Day and Grand Alumni Homecoming last Feb. 23-25.

Sedilla also lauded both the ERJHS family, led by Principal Gina L. Obierna, and ERJHS Alumni Association, headed by President Jess Asistin, for maintaining a positive relationship aimed at promoting the school and the students themselves.

“Alumni are always the most loyal supporters of the school. They are like ambassadors, whose skills and experience can greatly help current students,”said Sedilla.

Sedilla and Obierna also presented the “10 Most Outstanding Alumni” awards to Philippine Navy Commodore Albert Mogol of Batch 78 (military service), Monchie’s Lechon owner-manager Ramon Ferreros of Batch 73 (business), Tany Joe “TJ”” Calalay of Batch 95 (public service), Sct.
