COVID cases in Cavite reach more than 100K

TRECE MARITES CITY, Cavite — Cavite province recorded 109,497 cases of coronavirus across the province, according to data obtained from the Department of Health CHD-4A COVID-19 update in Calabarzon dated September 26, 2021.

There were 586 new cases from the total of 17,973 active cases from seven cities and 16 towns of the province. The province post 89,029 recoveries and 2,495 fatalities since March 2020.

General Trias has 13,765 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, 117 new cases of the 650 total new cases, 99 new of the12,888 total recoveries and 227 deaths recorded in Bacoor City, the City Health office marked 2,832 active cases out of the19,806 total confirmed cases, 16,384 recoveries and 590 deaths.

In Imus City, there were 17,588 total confirmed cases, 2,204 active cases, 14,952 recoveries and 432 deaths. Of the 2,204 active cases, 69 were admitted in the hospital, 2,113 are under strict home quarantine, 22 are in isolation facilities, 863 have no symptoms or are asymptomatic, 1,268 are experiencing mild symptoms, six have severe symptoms and with zero critical case.

In Carmona town, Carmona Rural Health Office recorded 3,710 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of the September 26 report, 301 active cases, 3,320 recoveries and 89 deaths.

Tagaytay City has 3,154 confirmed cases, 443 active cases, 2,651 recoveries and 59 deaths. Naic town recorded 2,305 total COVID cases as of September 26, 2021, 411 active cases, 1,818 recovered and 76 deaths.

Cavite City has 2,739 total COVID cases, 241 active cases, 2,390 recovered and 108 deaths as of September 26, 2021
