Bulacan SACLEO nets 187 suspects, P240K illegal drugs seized

CAMP OLIVA, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — PRO (Police Regional Office) 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. said the weeklong “Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) in Bulacan yielded an estimated P240,000 worth of illegal drugs seized and 187 wanted suspects arrested.

In a report, Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said some 52 people were arrested in a series of anti-drug busts conducted by various Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of the Bulacan police.

Seized were 104 sachets of suspected shabu, 11 sachets of dried marijuana leaves with a total DBB value of P240,290, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, 106 felons were arrested in the implementation of the warrant of arrest, including seven “most wanted persons” (MWPs) who were caught by the tracker teams of different police stations with the joint efforts of the 301st MC RMFB-3, Bulacan PHPT, 24th Special Action Company (SAF), and CIDG Bulacan.

Some 29 illegal gamblers were arrested in different anti-illegal gambling operations. They were caught in the act of playing illegal card bet games and “cara y cruz.”

Confiscated were assorted gambling paraphernalia and bet money.

Arnedo said this accomplishment of the Bulacan police is the manifestation of its unyielding efforts and relentless campaign against wanted persons, illegal drugs, loose firearms, illegal gambling, and all other lawless activities.

Hidalgo lauded the Bulacan police officers for their dedication and commitment to “ridding society of lawless elements.”
