THE Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has issued an advisory regarding the recruitment of prison officers for the year 2023.

Interested applicants are advised to follow the guidelines outlined below:

* Acceptance of application folders will only be from 0800H to 1400H. No submissions will be accepted after 1400H to ensure proper evaluation of all applications.

* The deadline for the submission of application folders is on April 28, 2023, to facilitate a smooth recruitment process.

* Applicants who submit their application folders at the BuCor headquarters should proceed to the New Bilibid Prison Sunken Garden stage for instructions on the submission of application folders to the Human Resource Division.

* Applicants will be directed to the HRD Recruitment Window in batches of ten (10) to facilitate the orderly evaluation and acceptance of folders.

All documentary requirements must be completed before submission to the HRD. Incomplete submissions will not be honored.

* Each applicant will be given a stub to track their progress throughout the recruitment process. Applicants without a Recruitment Stub will not be entertained.

* Only 2022 applicants will be allowed to retrieve their application folders for re-application.

* Applicants who miss their scheduled screening process, except for justifiable circumstances, will not be recommended for the next screening procedure.

* Applicants must wear a white round neck shirt, maong pants, white rubber shoes, white socks, a black garrison belt with a silver buckle, and a surgical mask. Male applicants should have neathaircuts, while female applicants must tie their hair in a bun.
