4 drug peddlers yield P1-M worth of shabu in QC sting
FOUR drug peddlers were arrested and yielded P1.1 million worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City.
In a report submitted to QCPD director Brig. Gen. Nicolas D Torre III, the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) arrested Dean Dexter Bohol Bato, 26, and Dexter Gelera Bato, 46, both of Bgy. Novaliches Proper, during a buy-bust yesterday at the corner of Monte de Piedad Street and EDSA, in Bgy. Immaculate Concepcion, QC.
They yielded at least 150 grams of shabu valued at P1,020, a cell phone, a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle, a digital weighing scale and a black sling bag.
Meanwhile, in a buy-bust operation yesterday morning, the Batasan Police Station (PS 6) collared Ma. Cristina Sy, 43, of Brgy. Payatas A, Quezon City and Musa Bansil, 25, of Bgy. Gadungan, Talitay, Maguindanao on IBP Road Pook Pag-Asa, Bgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City at around 2:10 a.m.
Seized from the suspects were more or less 25 grams of shabu valued at P170,000, a black coin purse, a cell phone and the buy-bust money.
Torre III said that the suspects were charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
