Sharks Billiard Association to launch pro league
WORLD-class billiards is expected to take centerstage with the formal launching of the Sharks Billiard Association Professional League 2024.
SBA Founder-CEO Hadley Mariano said that leading billiard players all over the world are expected to take part for select corporate teams in the first-ever play-for-pay billiard league.
Mariano, son of well-known billiard promoter-manager Perry Mariano, also announced the appointment of sportsman Chino Trinidad as the first SBA Commissioner.
“SBA is poised to make history as the world’s premier professional billiard league,” said Mariano.
“Setting the stage in the heart of the Philippines, SBA will soon unveil its first four official teams. Brace yourselves for the thrill of the inaugural SBA Draft and the action-packed regular season, all unfolding in 2024,” added Mariano.
“We are also thrilled to announce the appointment of veteran journalist Chino Trinidad as our first-ever commissioner.”
