Batangas local execs take oath

GOVERNOR Dodo Mandanas was sworn in as the local chief executive of Batangas province Thursday, June 30, at the Regina R. Mandanas Memorial Dream Zone in Batangas City.

Former Supreme Court Associate Justice and now Judicial Integrity Board Vice-Chairperson Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez led the oath-taking of Gov. Mandanas, where his siblings, along with Provincial Government of Batangas Chief of Staff and Provincial Information Officer Maria Isabel Bejasa, stood as witnesses.

This is the sixth term of Mandanas throughout his tenure as the “father” of the province, which began in 1995-2004 and 2016 which will end in the year 2025.

Meanwhile, Vice Governor Mark Leviste and Sangguniang Panlalawigan members were sworn in before Gov. Mandanas.
