BACOOR CITY, Cavite–Bacoor under Mayor Edwin ‘Strike’ Revilla and the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) headed by Secretary Jose Acuzar have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last July 21, 2023 to address the housing needs of families.

The agreement solidified the collaboration of Bacoor and DHSUD in the implementation of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program in coordination with key shelter agencies.

It aims to provide housing solutions for over six million Filipino families until 2028. Through this program, eligible beneficiaries will have access to affordable financing options for the acquisition or construction of their homes.

Under the MOA, Bacoor pledged its support for the 4PH Program by identifying and allocating suitable land parcels for the development of housing projects.

Additionally, the City Government of Bacoor will contribute its technical, financial and manpower resources to ensure the successful implementation of the program.

The financing scheme for the 4PH Program will be facilitated by the Pag-IBIG Fund through the Direct Developmental Loan Program.

This will enable eligible beneficiaries to obtain loans based on their capacity to pay, as determined by Pag-IBIG Fund.

The collaboration between DHSUD, the City Government of Bacoor, and Pag-IBIG Fund will create a robust framework for the effective and efficient delivery of housing opportunities to Filipino families.

Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with DHSUD will greatly contribute to our efforts in providing decent and affordable housing to our constituents.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home, and we are committed to making that a reality.”
