Another drinking spree ends in slay
A 39-YEAR-OLD welder was arrested for allegedly stabbing dead a construction worker during a drinking session Tuesday in Calatagan, Batangas.
Calatagan Municipal Police Station chief Major Ronnie Aurellano identified the victim as Christian Solis, 33, and the arrested suspect as Rido Feliciano, married.
The suspect and victim are residents of Bgy. Pob. 2, Calatagan.
Police investigators PSSgs Dennis H Mira and Angelo V Barcelon gathered that the incident occurred at about 7 p.m.
The victim sustained deep stab wounds in the chest and back. He was rushed to the Calatagan Medicare Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Hilda Marie Mercado.
The suspect underwent treatment for minor injuries in the same hospital. He is now under the custody of the Calatagan MPS.
