UNITEAM Bulacan gubernatorial candidate Willy Sy-Alvarado on Monday appealed to Bulakenyos to help him restore progress in Bukacan following the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19).

Alvarado expressed disappointment on the alleged failure of local government to address the defective Bustos Dam rubber gate that is posing serious threat to life and properties of Filipinos, especially now that rainy season is about to begin.

He also lamented the lack of appropriate action in solving African Swine flu that ruined the livelihood of hig raisers in the province.

Alvarado underscored the importance to further improve the service of Bulacan Medical Center following a controversy at the height of pandemic where some patients have waited outside.

While some provinces in Central Luzon were able to lower and control their COVID-19 cases, Alvarado lamented that Bulacan allegedly joined the National Capital Region (NCR) with higher number cases.

The former governor said the Bulacan government should improve its response on COVID-19, calamity, jobs and livelihood, and peace and order.
