OPERATIVES of the 2nd District of the Provincial Special Operation Unit and Laguna Police Provincial Office have arrested 40 persons for allegedly being engaged in illegal cockfighting or tupada Saturday afternoon in Bgy. Sto Domingo, Bay, Laguna.

Laguna OIC Provincial Director P/Col. Rogarth Campo transpired said seized during the operation were two live fighting cocks, eight dead fighting cocks, four foldable cock boxes, two ‘bayongs’, two pieces cockfighting blades and bet money amounting to P 37,870.

The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree of 1602.
