4 most wanted nabbed by PNP-CIDG

FOUR most wanted persons in the country, all facing non-bailable criminal charges were arrested in a series of manhunt operations launched by the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) this week, a report to PNP chief, General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar said Thursday.

PNP-CIDG director, Major Gen. Albert Ignatius D. Ferro said one of the suspects identified as Laurence Taguba, tagged as the 7th most wanted person in Calabarzon, was arrested in his hiding place in Sitio Mata, Dulongbayan II in Teresa, Rizal on the strength of a warrant for three counts of rape issued by Judge Yancy San Juan of the Morong, Rizal Regional Trial Court Branch 159.

The 2nd, Jay Lord Palicte,26, was arrested inside Cityville Subdivision in Bgy. Estefania, Bacolod City on the basis of a warrant for selling of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by Judge Juvy Victioriano-Dioso of the Bacolod City RTC Branch 49. Palicte was tagged as the 9th most wanted man in Bacolod City.

The 3rd identified as Andres Domdom Jr. was arrested in Purok Maligaya, Bgy. Dinahican in Infanta, Quezon on the strength of a warrant for two counts of rape issued by Judge Rofebar Gerona of the Sorsogon City RTC Branch 53. Ferro described the suspect as the 4th most wanted person in Sorsogon.

The 4th identified as Philip Aparri,33, was served a warrant of arrest for rape issued against him by Judge Alfonso Gomos of the Lapu-Lapu City RTC Branch 5, said the PNP-CIDG director.
