FOUR suspected drug couriers yielded several capsules of party drugs, shabu and high grade marijuana in a buy-bust operation Wednesday before dawn on Pasay City.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Kirby John Kraft in his report to National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director P/MGen. Jonnel Estomo said Dzun Robe May, 26, alias Jun/Jacky; Lorenzo Victoria,26; Alyssa Eden, 23, and Joebert Almenario, 27, were collared by elements of District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) at around 3 a.m. at the Amazing Show in Manila Film Center during a drug sting operation.

Operatives were able to confiscate from the suspects more or less 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000, two transparent plastic sachets containing 10 ecstasy capsules or Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine (MDMA)m two ecstasy tablets worth P16,800.00 and 180.01 grams of high graded marijuana or kush worth P252,014.00.

Police also confiscated from the suspects marked money amounting to P10,500 consisting of one genuine P500 bill and P10,000 boodle money, two black sling bags, a Mitsubishi Mirage (NFU-9200), and Toyota Vios (ABT-5344), used in their illegal transactions.

BGen. Kraft said the arrest of the suspects stemmed from the information gathered by DEU operatives about the rampant drug trade at the Amazing Show allegedly being utilized as haven of drug addicts.

In coordination with the Pasay City Police Sub-Station 1, a buy-bust operation was carried out by elements of DDEU, together with operatives of District Intelligence Division (DID), District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) and District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) that resulted in the arrest of the suspects who are now facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165.
