4 aliens with fake documents nabbed
FOUR foreigners who attempted to leave the country with spurious travel documents were intercepted by agents of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the alien passengers were apprehended on separate occasions three weeks ago.
“Thanks to the vigilance of our officers at the airport we were able to prevent these illegal aliens from slipping in or out of the country,” Tansingco said.
He said Indian nationals Harpreet Singh Ahitan, 32 and Maleet Singh, 42; Korean Lee Jihun, 38, and Taiwanese Lin Chia Hao, 29, were detained at the BI detention center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City pending deportation proceedings.
