3 Chinese nat’ls, Pinay fall P’que in gambling den raid
POLICE raided an alleged gambling den and arrested three Chinese nationals and their Filipina cohort Sunday afternoon in Paranaque City.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Zhiong Whang, 50, Feng Manzhen, 46, also known as La Dang Hua, Li Yue Cai, 46, female and alleged maintainer of the gambling den and their Filipina cohort Charise Escario, 20.
Macaraeg said the raid stemmed from a letter sent by officers of Homeowners Association of Multinational Village requesting police assistance regarding the illegal activities being carried out by some Chinese tenants occupying the second floor of a convenience store along Jerusalem St., Multinational, Brgy. Moonwalk, Paranaque City.
