2 Chinese nat’ls nabbed for illegal detention in P’que
TWO Chinese nationals were arrested for illegally detaining a fellow Chinese inside a health spa Tuesday afternoon in Parañaque City.
Elements of Tambo Police Station were able to rescue Tang Deshui while being detained inside a health spa located along Bradco Avenue, Bgy. Tambo after his lady friend, reported the incident to the police station.
In a report received by Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Kirby John Kraft, the victim’s friend, personally appeared at the Tambo Police Sub-Station and reported that his friend was detained illegally inside a health spa.
The suspects allegedly demanded P300,000 ransom from the victim in exchange for his release, prompting operatives of Tambo Police Station to conduct a rescue operation.
At around 12:20 p.m. (April 25), policemen rescued the victim and arrested the suspects, identified as Wenlong Huang, 29, and Weiming Shi, 26.
The suspects were currently detained at the Tambo Police Sub-Station pending the filing of charges of illegal detention before the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office.
