IMUS CITY, Cavite – 17 parcels with “suspicious” contents were discovered at a delivery shipping station on Christmas eve, December 24, 2022.

In the gathered report, some employees of the shipping center in Imus City, Cavite had doubts about the “strange” smell of the 17 parcels while preparing them for delivery.

A K9 inspection unit was immediately called, and before opening the parcels, the K9 dog sniffed each package.

When they confirmed the contents, they revealed large quantities of marijuana (MJ).

Authorities recovered at least 2,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated value of P240,000.

The local police did not provide the details of where they will be sent and where they came from amid a follow-up operation.
