16-year-old girl, cohort nabbed for P1.38M drug sale in Cavite park
DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – POLICE netted two women, including a 16-year-old girl, in a well-known Dasmariñas park during a buy-bust operation Friday.
The police identified the suspects as Norjina Sumagina Unte, 35 years old, and the 16-year-old hidden under the name Ash, both residents of Barangay Datu Esmael here.
In the report gathered from the office of Cavite Provincial Director Police Col. Christopher Olazo, at 6:45 in the evening, the joint forces of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RSET 1 and RSET 2, PDEA-Cavite Provincial Office and the Dasmariñas Police laid out the buy-bust against the suspect Unte.
The drug sale took place at the Promenade Park in Governor Mangubat Avenue, Bgy. Burol main in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Recovered from the suspects were more than 200 grams of shabu valued at P1,380,000. One cellphone and the buy-bust money used in the operation were also confiscated from the suspects.
Both are facing charges under Section 5 in relation to Section 26, paragraph B of Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.
