CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Some 115 newly-promoted Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 on Tuesday took their oath on the PRO 3 Parade Grounds of Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The oath-taking, mass pinning, and donning of ranks of the newly promoted police commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers were led by PRO 3 Director Police Brigadier Gen. Cesar Pasiwen.

“Your promotion signifies not only the recognition of your excellent service to the PNP but, more importantly, the bigger responsibilities that you have to hold in order to help attain our mission,” said Pasiwen.

“Huwag kayong makontento sa inyong promotion. I want you to keep going, strive harder, and embrace the challenges at stake ahead of you toward the fulfillment of your dreams. Do not cling to corruption, do not engage in illegal activities. Maglingkod kayo ng tapat at taos-puso sa sambayanang Pilipino,” Pasiwen said further in his speech.

The event was held simultaneously in all PPOs/CPOs regionwide, where a total of 3,179 PRO personnel advanced to the next higher rank.

Among those promoted is Capt. Silvestre Colanza, deputy chief of Bagac Police and PCMS Jewelle Rivera, of RPIO3.
