Zamora leads educational aid for 300 PWD students
SAN Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora led the distribution of the P4,000 educational assistance to 300 PWD students from kindergarten to college.
Zamora said this is the City Government’s support to families with PWD members not only for their education but also for their medical needs such as medical procedures, therapy, check-ups, and maintenance medicines.
“Asahan po ninyo na ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng San Juan ay nandito upang tumulong at sumuporta sa inyo. Naiintindihan ko ang pinagdadananan ng mga pamilya na may PWDs kaya makakaasa kayo sa aming pag-agapay sa inyo.” he stated.
“Kung anuman ang mga medikal na pangangailangan ng anak ninyo, may pondo tayo upang makatulong sa inyo. Kung kailangan nila ng procedure, gamot, therapy, huwag kayong mag-atubiling lumapit,” he added.
The mayor also promised additional P3,000 by March of next year to the same beneficiaries of today’s payout.
