Viva2VIVAPRIME is the latest addition to Viva Entertainment’s platforms. After the huge success of Vivamax as the number one local streaming platform with 6 million subscribers worlwide, come January 29, 2023, the coolest, the edgiest and the newest streaming platform in the Philippines will be available for streaming worldwide.

Viva is still jubilant over the blockbuster successes of the Metro Filmfest entries: “Deleter” and “Partners in Crime”, but here they are poised to conquer more viewers with their newest streaming platform.

VivaPrime was formally launched big time at La Reve last Thursday afternoon. On stage to answer questions from the press are Vincent del Rosario, Vivamax and VivaPrime president; Valerie del Rosario, Content Creation and Executive Producer; Ronan de Guzman, Vivamax COO and Paul Basinillo, chief marketing officer. Hosts are Bily Crawford and Jean Kiley.

So what’s the difference between Vivamax and VivaPrime?

“Vivamax offers more risque movie and series,” says Vincent. “For VivaPrime, we offer new movies for general audiences that have been released in theaters, like ‘Maid in Malacanang’ and ‘May December January’.”

What can they say that Vivamax offers movies that focus on sex and violence? “We respect their opinion, but we think offering adult content in a platform like this is better because we have self regulation that proves to be very effective control to make sure we only have adult viewers who are required to register their PIN numbers.”

Why come up with a new streaming platform? “We aim to compete with global streaming services. Viewers will have more platforms to choose from. There are other streaming platforms but the edge of Viva is 40 years of producing films and shows na alam na ang pulso ng Pinoy viewers.”

Exactly two years after the launch of Vivamax, another steaming platform kicks off under the banner of VivaPrime. An AVOD model, or simply a streaming site that allows you to watch with or without the ads, therefore bringing the cost of subscription down courtesy of advertisers.

It was not so long ago when the pandemic hit and no one was making movies, but Boss Vic del Rosario never stopped producing. Even through the toughest of times, his purpose to bring premium entertainment to everyone survives.

Behind streaming giants that dominated the market both foreign and locally, in just two years, the mostly adult entertainment platform found its niche and finally brought in subscribers from all over the globe.

Now, Vivamax boasts of having close to 6 million registered subs worldwide. At the same time, launching the careers of Vivamax stars like AJ Raval, Angeli Khang, Ayanna Misola, Christine Bermas, Janelle Tee, Denise Esteban, Azi Acosta, Angela Morena, Ava Mendez, Micaella Raz and Frankie Russell, just to name a few.

A consistent programming of 1 new movie every week and 1 solid series weekly makes Vivamax a formidable block and creates a viewing habit for its loyal subscribers every Friday for new movies and Sunday for every series.

Now, following the same path but reaching out to an even wider audience by producing no less than 70 new titles just for 2023 alone, Pinoy’s finest general entertainment is finally available in VivaPrime.

“We are all over the country and all over the world, in 82 territories and with VivaMax’ 6 million subscribers and growing,” says Vincent. “We want you to be our newest Ka-Viva. It’s everyday primetime sa VivaPrime for only P49. Or enjoy it ads free for just P99 a month. Truly, VivaPrime has positioned itself to be the most affordable quality entertainment that is proudly Filipino.

January 29. Save the date for the most affordable, premium streaming service available to you, VivaPrime, KaViva!”
