TINGOG Party-List and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Wednesday extended financial and food assistance to the residents of Brgy. Malanday, Marikina.

The event held at the St. Teresita Village Covered Court marked a significant milestone in Tingog Party-list’s ongoing commitment to support communities nationwide.

The program aimed to cater to a substantial number of requests for financial and medical assistance, including the eight families who were victims of a fire on May 5.

Recognizing the immediate needs of the affected families, Tingog Party-list led by Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude Acidre and the DSWD led by Sec. Rex Gatchalian allocated P3,000 to each of the 300 beneficiaries, with the goal of easing their financial burdens and providing immediate relief to their families.

Barangay Captain Mak Alfonso and other barangay officials were present at the event and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Tingog Party-list and DSWD for their unwavering dedication in assisting the residents of Brgy. Malanday.

They also acknowledged and thanked Bruce Fortuno— Head of Youth Development and Tingog Party-list’s coordinator in Brgy. Malanday— along with the staff of Tingog Partyl-list for ensuring the successful implementation of the program.

“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa Tingog Partylist, kay Cong. Yedda Marie Romualdez, Cong. Jude Acidre, at kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa pagtulong sa aming barangay. Mula noong panahon pa ng Ulysses, hanggang ngayon ay kasama [sila] ng Malanday. Iba talaga ang Alagang Tingog,” Alfonso said.

Tingog Party-list in collaboration with its partners and stakeholders, consistently demonstrates its commitment to uplifting communities in need.

Through the organization of this offsite payout program, Tingog Party-list once again showcased its deep concern for the welfare and well-being of the people it serves.

This program stands as a testament to its unwavering dedication to service and its determination to make a positive impact on the lives of Filipinos, Tingog Party-list said.
