Teacher found dead in trike in Nueva Ecija
A PUBLIC school teacher on Monday was found dead, with a gunshot wound in the head, inside a tricycle at Purok 3 in Bgy. Alula, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Romnick Grospe, a 34-year-old public school teacher, and a resident of Roxas District, Talugtug municipality.
Initial probe showed that the victim’s father, Fernando, 69, a farmer, of Purok 2, Bgy. Alula, Talugtug, found his son, with gunshot wound in the head, inside his tricycle.
The teacher was rushed to the Guimba General Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
Police are conducting an investigation for the possible arrest of the gunman and to determine the motive for the killing.
