Cavite traffic enforcer gunned down
BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Riding-in-tandem armed men on Monday shot dead a traffic enforcer in Bgy. Talaba 4, this city.
Police identified the victim as Edgar Domingo, a traffic enforcer of the city of Bacoor.
He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
An investigation showed the victim was manning the flow of traffic in Bgy. Talaba 4 in the intersection of Zapote-Kalinisan road when two men on a motorcycle arrived and shot him before fleeing at 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
Witnesses said the suspects were wearing helmets and black jackets.
Authorities are investigating if the killing had something to do with the victim’s job.
