STA. LUCIA completed its Premier Volleyball League roster by acquiring 6-foot-3 Dell Palomata to give support star player Mika Reyes in the frontline.

“We officially welcome middle blocker Dell Palomata to the Sta. Lucia family! We look forward to being a part of her growth as an athlete as she is set to join the Lady Realtors in our PVL debut.

LET’S GET IT!” the club posted through its social media pages Tuesday night.

The 25-year old Palomata will definitely give Sta. Lucia the needed height which was lacking in the previous club league campaigns.

A product of University of St. La Salle in Bacolod, Palomata is a mainstay of Air Force.

The Lady Realtors had a busy 2021. Aside from being one of the five new clubs in the now-pro PVL. Sta. Lucia was able to snag a scorer in Aiza Maizo-Pontillas to bolster its offense.

Jovy Prado, Kai Baloaloa and Jonah Sabete were also signed by the Lady Realtors earlier this year to boost their stock.

“Cast complete. Ready to get ready,” the club posted on its social media accounts.

A native of Passi City, Iloilo, the 33-year old Maizo-Pontillas will reunite with her former Petron teammate Reyes in Sta. Lucia.

Prado and Baloaloa will play for the Lady Realtors for the first time, while Sabete will return to the team that she played for two seasons. The trio previously suited up for PVL’s PetroGazz, having won a championship in 2019.

MJ Phillips, Pam Lastimosa, Bang Pineda, Djanel Cheng and Amy Ahomiro will also be the vital cogs for Sta. Lucia.
