Tingog1THE offices of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and Tingog Party-list, led by Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude Acidre, have distributed P5,000 financial aid to each of the 2,000 qualified beneficiaries in two barangays in District 5 of Quezon City.

This is in partnership with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos Jr. to provide better services to the people through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under Sec. Rex Gatchalian.

The beneficiaries were from Barangays Pasong Putik and Sauyo in Novaliches, both in District 5 of Quezon City.

The AICS program of DSWD aims to improve the conditions of families in crisis and communities in need, enabling them to fulfill their fundamental needs and elevate their overall well-being.

Acidre, a House Deputy Majority Leader, remembered Tingog’s beginnings and Leyte’s experience during the onslaught of Typhoon Yolanda.

“Hindi titigil ang Tingog Party-list sa pag-aalaga sa inyo dahil nauna kayong nag-alaga samin,” Acidre said.

Rep. Yedda expressed the dedication of Tingog Party-list to serve the people tirelessly. “Asahan po ninyo na hindi dito magtatapos ang aming pagseserbisyo.

Makakaasa po kayo na mas magiging malakas at magpapatuloy ang alaga ng Tingog sa District 5 sa tulong at suporta ng ating Speaker.”

In Barangay Sauyo, also present in the event were Tingog Party-list’s partners in public service Mayor Belmonte and Congresswoman Marivic Co-Pilar.

Rep. Yedda led the distribution of cash assistance to the residents of Barangay Sauyo, held at the Greenville Court, Greenville Drive, with the help of DSWD Assigned Leader Ashliah Baute.

Acidre also emphasized the importance of reciprocity and kindness. “Sana po tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa, upang tuloy-tuloy rin po ang aming paglilingkod.”

Rep. Yedda highlighted the Alagang Tingog Centers located in different areas of Quezon City. “Meron po tayong 7 Alagang Tingog Centers dito sa QC–sa Batasan Hills, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Kamuning, Payatas, Bagong Silangan, Sta. Monica at syempre, dito sa District 6, sa Pasong Tamo.”

Furthermore, she pointed out how Tingog’s overwhelming presence in Quezon City is a testament to its commitment to serving citizens. “Lagi kaming nasa tabi nyo, wala pong iwanan!”

Earlier, Rep. Yedda led the distribution of financial aid to the citizens of Brgy. Kaligayahan held at St. Theresa School of Novaliches together with Acidre, Quezon City Fifth District Rep. PM Vargas, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Association of Barangay Captains President Freddie Roxas and Councilor Alfred Vargas, assisted by DSWD Assigned Leader Ma. Rita Corañes.
