Sleeping vendor stabbed to death
A MALE vendor was stabbed to death on Christmas Eve while sleeping inside his residence in Bgy. Mabini, Lipa City, Batangas.
Case investigators PCMS Oliver D. Morcilla and P/Cpl Michael Jasson M. Landicho identified the victim as Roman Caguitla, 59, married.
Now being hunted is the suspect identified as Alex Caraig, of legal age, and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Mabini, Lipa City.
Investigation showed the victim was sleeping on the couch when the suspect armed with a kitchen knife arrived at around 9:15 p.m.
The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest and stomach then escaped.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at the Lipa City District Hospital by Dr. Julius Henry Fortuno.
