Mahigpit ding tinutulan ni Andrea Brillantes ang kaawa-awang sinapit ng asong si Killua na natagpuang wala nang buhay sa isang sako.

Sa Instagram post ni Blythe kamakailan ay sinabi niya na matagal na siyang nagre-rescue ng mga pet at ibinahagi ang nakakaantig na kwento ng asong si Isla na pinagmalupitan umano ng owner.

“My family and I started rescuing pets a couple of years ago, and I’ve never understood why and how people can be so cruel to animals who just want love and affection. Animals are sentient beings who experience emotions like joy, sadness, and pain, just like us. They deserve to be treated with kindness and respect,” simula ni Andrea.

“While I’m here, let me share the story of Isla, our third rescue dog, who encountered a cruel individual, much like Killua. Isla’s owner and friends attempted to kill her by brutal means. They hacked her back and nose, poked out her eyeball, chopped off her leg and teeth, and even buried her alive, thinking she was dead.

“Thankfully, Isla managed to escape. My mom found her on the beach a few months after her ordeal, and when she told me her story, I immediately insisted that we bring her home with us.

“Now, Isla is safe, happy, and able to socialize with other pets. Although she still has some fear of men due to her trauma, she now knows she is loved, protected, and will never have to experience that pain again,” kwento ng aktres tungkol kay Isla.

Kinondena rin ni Andrea ang taong pumatay kay Killua na aniya ay dapat itong maparusahan.

“My heart goes out to Killua’s family and all those who have suffered the loss of a pet due to animal cruelty. Killua was a golden retriever. Although I never personally met him, I know that golden retrievers are typically sweet, kind, patient, and loving creatures.

“I can’t understand how ANTHONY SOLARES, the man who murdered Killua, could commit such an inhumane act. Not only did he kill Killua, but he also beat him to death with a pipe and stuffed him into a sack without any remorse.

“Are we just going to let these actions go unpunished? How many more pets have to suffer from animal cruelty and abuse? How many more pets have suffered the same fate without any CCTV footage to prove it?” saad ni Andrea.

Nais ng aktres na gumawa ng mas matinding batas ang gobyerno para protektahan ang mga hayup at bigyan ng mas malupit na parusa ang mga animal abusers.

“Killua and Isla are perfect examples of why our government needs to enact stronger laws to protect animals. Animal abusers in our country are far too comfortable and need to face much harsher punishments.

“Let’s be the voice for the voiceless and put an end to animal cruelty!” mariing pahayag ni Andrea.
