LONGEVITY in showbiz is hard to achieve these days.

Stars come and go. But only few remain to be on top of the game. Piolo Pascual leads the pack among his contemporaries, particularly his co-hunks Jericho Rosales, Diether Ocampo, Bernard Palanca and Carlos Agassi.

Hindi siya nawawalan nang projects mapa-telebisyon o mapa pelikula man ‘yan. Maging sa advertising, isa pa rin siya sa mga hot brand endorser. And in the works is Dreamscape Entertainment’s “Pamilya Sagrado”. He is joined by young actors Kyle Echarri and Grae Fernandez in this upcoming series. Jericho comes next.

Although he has gone into self-imposed hiatus during pandemic, Echo remains to be one of the most sought-after leading men. He is reportedly doing a project with Dreamscape Entertainment for his TV comeback. No details about the project have been shared yet to the public. And he’s been a hot topic in the gossip mill, lately.

Dahil napapabalitang nililigawan niya diumano si Kathryn Bernardo. Sabi ng iba, kaya raw sila laging nakikitang magkasama dahil ito sa project na kanilang ginagawa.

Meanwhile, the other hunks – Diether, Carlos and Bernard – are cast in some projects from time to time. Pero hindi na sila kasing in-demand gaya nina Piolo and Echo. May kani-kaniya na rin silang priorities sa labas ng showbiz.

Nauso noon ang mga hunk group kaya after ng batch nina Piolo, nagsulputan na rin ang ibang batch. Pero ngayon, wala nang bagong hunk group. Bakit nga ba wala nang sumikat na hunk group sa showbiz ngayon? Just asking…
