Sales agent loses gub, laptops, valuables to Basag-Kotse gang
POLICE reported that suspected members of a Basag-Kotse gang carted away laptops, personal belongings, and a handgun from a sales agent’s SUV while parked along J.P. Laurel Highway, in Bgy. Balintawak, Lipa City, Batangas Friday night.
Lipa City Police Station commander Lt. Col. Ronald P. Cayago identified the victim as Robert Lhee Peralta, a technical sales agent of Energychem company.
Police investigators learned Peralta saw the broken front window r of his bronze Toyota Fortuner with plate number NBI 2050 registered to Energychem Industry Inc. at 8:20 p.m. on June 10.
Upon inspection, Peralta discovered that his blue bag containing the company-issued Macbook Pro laptop worth P100,000, a Macbook Air personal laptop worth P55,000, one hard drive, personal documents, and his blue sling bag containing one CZ P10-C cal. 9mm pistol with serial number F239091 and three magazines had been stolen.
