Quezon cops seize P.9M shabu from ‘drug peddler’
CANDELARIA, QUEZON — Quezon policemen seized from hissome P948,600 worth of shabu from a suspected drug peddler in Brgy. Pahinga Norte, here, on Wednesday night.
Quezon police director Colonel Ericson Dilag said Ariel Bacay Grande, alias Aye, 45, jobless and a resident of Bacawan St. in the said village was caught red- handed with marked money right after the exchange of drugs and cash with a poseur buyer during a drug- buy bust at 10: 15 p.m.
Dilag said the buy-bust was conducted by operatives of Candelaria police station under Major Francis Aldrich Garcia.
Garcia in a phone interview said seized were seven plastic sachets containing 46.5 grams of suspectee shabu with a street value of P948,600 and a marked P500 bill.
The suspect was charged with violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Lucena City.
Last Tuesday, combined police teams of Quezon Police Provincial Office arrested a suspected big time lady drug pusher and seized some P4.1 million worth of illegal drugs from her possession in a drug buy bust at Sto. Rosario Subd.,Brgy. 4 in Lucena City.
Neriza Oracion, 46, jobless and resident of said village yielded 205 grams of shabu during a buy- bust carried out by joint elements of Lucena City police station under Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea and Provincial Intelligence Unit led by Major Gaylor Pagala.
