Quezon cops net 3 ‘bigtime’ pushers, P3M shabu seized
LUCENA CITY – Police operatives on Sunday arrested three suspected pushers, including a woman resulting in the seizure of some P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs at Purok Talabis, Barangay Ibabang Iyam, here.
Quezon Police director Col. Ledon Monte said one of the suspects was included in “high-value individual” (HVI) watchlist, and all were residents of the said barangay.
Monte said the anti-drug operation was carried out by Lucena City police operatives under Lt. Col. Erickson Roranes.
Recovered were 18 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 65.6 grams of shabu valued at P1,338.240, two coin purses, and the marked money.
Roranes said the suspects have been under tight watch by his Intelligence section and drug enforcement operatives following reports that they have been engaged in drug peddling.
He recalled that only last week, the same operatives confiscated P3,125,280 worth of shabu, and three suspects were caught at Akap Village, Purok Little Baguio II Bgy. Ibabang Dupay, this city.
