AROUND 113 drug suspects were arrested by the operatives of the Police Regional Police Office 3 (PRO 3) headed by PBGen Valeriano De leon in their continuing anti-drug operations.

A report received by PBGen De Leon said 79 police operations were conducted in the region last week.

The operations resulted to the confiscation of 762.49 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P14.63 million and 121.90 grams of marijuana amounting to P14,628.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested drug suspects.

Meanwhile, De Leon confirmed that they also conducted 42 anti-illegal gambling operations that resulted to the arrest of 178 suspect and confiscation of P80,997 bet money.

For illegal logging, PRO 3 conducted three operations where they arrested eight suspects and confiscated P188,082 worth of evidence.

They also conducted an anti-illegal fishing operation, arrested seven suspects and confiscated P2,000 worth of evidence.

De Leon assured they will continue with their operations in the whole region.
