POLICE Regional Office 11 (PRO11) Director Brigadier General Benjamin Silo on Friday reported the arrest of two marijuana (MJ) dealers in Davao City and Panabo City.

Silo said Davao City policemen, along with members of SDET, 11TH RMFB XI, and 1105th RMFB XI, arrested construction worker Justine Alfaro Trinidad alias “Choi”, 21, of Km. 9, Bgy. Tigatto, Davao City, in a buy-bust at Marquella, Deca Tigatto, Bgy. Tigatto, Buhangin District, Davao City.

The suspect yielded two plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves and seeds worth at least P17,500, a cellphone, and the marked money.

Meanwhile, Panabo City cops arrested a high-value drug target in Davao del Norte.

Joint personnel of the Panabo City Police led by Maj. Adelon Caacbay together with personnel from RPDEU1, 2ND DNPMFC, and PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) Davao del Norte, arrested Jaylord Pantino Mañacap alias “Inting”, of Prk. Crossing, Bgy. Subasta, Calinan, Davao City, in an entrapment in Prk. Carrots, Bgy. Gredu, Panabo City.

Seized from the suspect were 11 plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops weighing at least 140 grams valued at P16,800, the marked money, and a .38 revolver loaded with five live bullets.

Silo said the two suspects will be charged with violations of Section 5 and Section 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591. By Bernard Galang
