P.8M shabu, guns seized in Bulacan sting
Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — Some P890,000 worth of shabu and firearms were seized from a suspected drug dealer in Malolos, Bulacan.
Bulacan police director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr. said Alejandro Paloma alias Negro, of Bgy. Sto. Niño, Plaridel, Bulacan, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Malolos City police.
Seized from Paloma were five plastic sachets of shabu weighing at least 131 grams valued at P890,800, a plastic sachet of dried marijuana leaves worth P328, two ; two .45 pistols, a .38 gun, several bullets, a cell phone, assorted drug paraphernalia, the marked money, and a motorcycle.
The suspect is now jailed at the Malolos City police and is facing charges for violation of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay vowed that the Central Luzon police will remain steadfast in its anti-drug campaign.
