TWO cybercrime suspects were arrested by members of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) in separate operations in the countryside on Tuesday, PNP-ACG director, Brigadier General Robert T. Rodriguez said.

One of the two identified as Neil Bryan Martin, a 22-year old resident of Pandacan, Manila was collared in a manhunt operation inside the Victory Liner terminal in Baguio City shortly before noon Tuesday, the official said.

Brig. Gen. Rodriguez said Martin has been tagged as the 6th most wanted person in Cordillera by the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit prior to his arrest on the strength of a warrant issued by Baguio City Judge Leody Opolinto.

The suspect in March 2018 was accused of defrauding a person whom he offered to sell an Iphone6 phone thru their online conversations. But after the payment was made, the accused failed to deliver the gadget and disappeared.

A P6,000 bail was recommended for the temporary liberty of the accused.
