MSMEs dapat maging AI ready – – PBBM
INATASAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na palakasin pa ang micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng artificial intelligence (AI)- powered system para makaagapay sa pabago-bagong technological demands.
Sa sectoral meeting sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na dapat na maging fully equipped sa modernong teknolohiya ang mga nasa MSMEs para makasabay sa physical at online demands.
“We are not teaching them to be engineers, AI engineers. We’re not teaching them to be blockchain engineers. We’re teaching them how to use the system that we have provided. That, I think, we have to be clear about that,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“Don’t teach the theory that goes on behind it, but just teach what it is that they need to use the AI. That’s the whole point of AI, you just talk, that’s where we want to get them to,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, mas mapapadali ang ease of doing business sa AI system.
Base sa talaan noong 2022, binubuo ng MSME ng 99.59 percent ang total establishments sa bansa.
Nasa 65.10 percent ang total employment ng mga nasa MSMEs.
