PINALAGAN ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang napaulat na labis na paniningil ng pamasahe, partikular na sa mga pasahero ng mga motorcycle (MC) taxi.

“We do not and we will not tolerate any violation such as overcharging of fares within the public transportation system. The fare matrix was crafted to ensure that the fares charged by all public transport operators from commuters regardless of vehicle type are fair and equitable,” pahayag ni LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III na siya ring namumuno sa Motorcycle Taxi – Technical Working Group (MC-TWG).

Ang MC-TWG ang nangangasiwa ng pilot study para sa MC Taxi.

“We reiterate that this practice of overcharging has no place in our public transportation system. We will not allow it,” dagdag pa ni Chairman Guadiz.

Makikipag-ugnayan ang LTFRB sa MC-TWG upang tutukan at imbestigahan ang isyu ng overcharging ng mga MC taxi.
