AFTER seven straight weeks of price rollbacks, motorists will experience another price increase effective Tuesday.

In its advisory, Chevron Philippines bared that they would increase their pump prices of gasoline products by P0.70 centavos per liter, diesel by P2.60 per liter, and kerosene by P2.80 per liter, effective at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

Two other major oil firms, Petron Philippines and Pilipinas Shell, along with Seaoil Philippines and Flying V, also announced their respective pump prices at the same levels effective at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Independent oil firms PTT Philippines, Petro Gazz, Unioil Philippines, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, and Jetti Oil also announced the same price increases on their gasoline and diesel products at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, excluding kerosene which they do not carry, while changes of pump prices of Clean Fuel will take effect at 8:01 a.m.

PTT Philippines Communication Officer Jhay Julian said the local pump price adjustment for this week reflects movements in the international oil market.
