MANILA – The new Ospital ng Maynila (OsMa) is expected to be finished by May 2022.

This was learned from Aksyon Demokratiko and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, who said that as of this writing, the construction works at the said hospital is “generally, at least 80 percent finished.”

Moreno assured that the most salient parts of the structure are done and only minor works remain to be finished such as some inner areas and rooms.

A good portion of the OsMa, Moreno bared, used to be a dumping ground of various kinds of trash.

He cited the support of Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna in her capacity as the second highest official in the City Hall and also as presiding officer of the Manila City Council, as highly instrumental in the success of the said project along with other successful programs of the city.

The mayor said that once he is given the chance to lead the country in the next 6 years, he would want each of the country’s 17 regions and 80 provinces to have an OsMa of their own.
